Having commenced his working life as a cabinetmaker, Allan has experienced every aspect of the renovation process. In 1973 he completed his cabinet making apprenticeship and worked as a qualified Cabinetmaker, then Installer, Technical Detailer, Installation Manager, and today a Certified Kitchen Designer and Interior Designer.

Earning his accreditation as a Certified Kitchen Designer, (CKD),  in 1995, Allan has continued learning and has successfully grown his company to be the trusted firm it is today. Established in 1983, much of Allan’s business comes from client referrals and repeat business, which is testament to his design talent, quality product, installation team and customer service.

With his wide design experience, Allan focuses on providing practical solutions which are aesthetically pleasing and compliment both the client’s home and their lifestyle, whether it be in the study, office, studio, bedroom, laundry or bathroom.   However, with Allan’s passion for cooking, it is in the kitchen where his well honed eye for function and form is most evident in his designs.

In 2004 the Victorian Chapter of the Kitchen and Bathroom Designers Institute (KBDi) was established, with Allan as Victorian Chapter Secretary. KBDi aims to develop young designers through its training programs.
